I think that our society is still not very ready to accept people with disabilities! I am sincerely sorry for these people and I believe that the state simply must give these people the same opportunities and living conditions as well as ordinary people!

I hope that with your dad everything will be fine, it's very painful when relatives are sick, but we can not help them, but I think that moral support for them is also very important.

Hi -- I've come across your blog two different ways, so I really think I need to say hi. I have PVNS, which is a rare joint disease. I just had my second surgery. I'm hoping that it will be dormant for a while, but mostly just concentrating on getting by day-to-day.

This morning, I was trolling the Paperback Swap site, and I saw your signature with your web site! So, hello!

Ann

This is an Excellent and fantastic blog – Why because It conveys only facts. I have gone through all the posts. I don't know why the blog master doesn’t update this regularly. Blog need daily updation. Hope that blog master will look to this soon.
I have some own blogs in this subject – on Rheumatoid Arthritis- I shall link this blog from them.
Regarding complete cure of Rheumatoid Arthritis I was simply wondering why we can’t find some thing useful in this direction. Since Rheumatoid Arthritis and its treatment is an important issue or information we need more specific information on this subject. I have found a nice informative guide on Rheumatoid Arthritis from following URL
http://www.helpcure.com/ra
This website will tell you guide How to Cure Rheumatoid Arthritis by Holistic Treatment – Only useful treatment for Rheumatoid Arthritis
Hope for the best

I know I've been to it before - but you know how you go away for a little bit of time and come back and it all seems as if you've never read a particular blog before? Way to go for journaling abut your personal life and dealing with chronic disease. it is always a journey!! I hope you come back to check mine out again http://typeawithra.wordpress.com

Sasha

Hi Mel,

I was going from blog to blog and came upon yours. It's nice to find a nice, simple, normal-to-me blog that doesn't have funky graphics and a morbid demeanor. I like the blogs that just talk about normal stuff..not overly exciting stuff but normal, we-all-can-relate to "stuff."

I hope you're dad and your dog are okay.

Eva

Happy Birthday, Mel!

I'm one year and a bit older than you, and feel the same way when I have my birthday. I think you shouldn't wonder about how you'll going to ache in 10 years but get help from alternative methods that have worked for others.
Wishing you good health,

Eva
Btw. I love the Harry Potter books, too :)

I can appreciate how you feel. Although I have my health, there are many people in my family who do not. I am also in the nursing profession, hence I see how debilitating many diseases can be, arthritis being one of them. Furthermore, my brother-in-law has a disability that is not visible and he is always looked down on because he is so young and has the disability plackard. When I am a passenger in his car, I find myself getting angry at those people whom are quick to judge.
